Musical Theatre Diplomas 2025
Our new Musical Theatre Diploma syllabus unifies our performance pathways, assessing candidates holistically as Musical Theatre performers. This qualification replaces the separate Musical Theatre for Singers and Musical Theatre for Actors diplomas.

Exams
Candidates can choose between In-person, Digital Record or Digital Live exams. We offer the following Performance Diplomas and Teaching Diplomas exams:
Performance Diplomas
Candidates prepare and present a complete performance programme. Focus on holistic assessment of singing, acting, and stage presence.

Requirements
Prerequisite qualifications
There are no prerequisite qualifications required for entering any exam; candidates can enter at any level provided they have the required knowledge, skills and understanding.
Age groups
Performance and Teaching Diplomas are open to all, and there are no minimum age restrictions. Recommended minimum ages (in years) are as follows:

Extensive suggested repertoire list featuring over 200 pieces across genres and eras

New presentation component for both in-person and digital exams (replacing the Discussion section from previous Musical Theatre Diplomas exams)

Teachers and teaching organisations can enter students online through our network of Public Exam Centres. They can also opt to host a Private Exam Day for their students through our dedicated team of LCME Reps and Customer Service Team.
