What is LCME ExamTrack?
ExamTrack is our new system for managing LCME exams. It brings booking, payment, uploads, marking and results into one place.
The exams themselves are not changing. Content, requirements and standards stay the same. Only the way you book and manage exams is changing.
Key dates
| Date (UK time) | What happens |

This means that in 2027 every LCME exam, in every country and in every format, will be booked, managed, marked and certified in one place.
Please note: you can't book Digital Recorded exams between 27 and 30 November while we move to ExamTrack.
What's changing for you
We're streamlining the process for all of our customers. Unlike the current Digital Recorded exam process, you upload the video and supporting documents and pay for the entry at the same time.
Teachers, parents and candidates who book their own exams
From 1 December, you'll book Digital Recorded exams in ExamTrack.
- Create your account. You'll create your own ExamTrack account from 1 December, then add your candidates as you go.
- Build your booking. Start a booking, add your candidates and attach the video and documents for each one. When everything is uploaded, pay by card to complete your submission.
- Get your results. You will receive your result(s) by email as normal.
Centres
From 1 December, your centre makes new Digital Recorded exam entries in ExamTrack.
- Your accounts. We'll set up accounts for your centre, and tell you how to log in. More information will be provided nearer the launch.
- Adding candidates. Download our template, fill it in and import it. ExamTrack shows anything that needs fixing, so you can correct it as you go. More information is coming soon.
- See everything in one place. Every entry, payment and result, with a live status for each entry.
- Enter when you're ready. Upload the video and documents for each candidate, then pay to complete the entry.
Your centre continues to run its exams and support its candidates, as now. From 2027, you'll also manage in-person exam events, entries and invoices in ExamTrack.

Frequently asked questions
By bringing our booking systems into one platform, we can provide a better overall experience for our customers. You only need to use one platform, and we only need to support and maintain one platform.
LCME ExamTrack also brings performance and accessibility improvements, making it easier for customers to use.
No. Exam content, requirements and standards stay the same.
From 1 December 2026.
If you've entered a candidate on our current digital exams platform (enter.lcme.exsrv.com), please submit your recording and required documents there by 23:59 UK time on 28 November 2026.
Please note that entries made on the current platform will not be able to be transferred to the new system, so must be uploaded by 28 November. We advise bookers who are not confident that their video(s) will be ready to submit before this date to delay their entries until after the new system becomes live.
If you can't submit by then, please contact us.
With our current digital exam platform an exam has three stages:
- Entry is when you book and pay.
- Submission is when you upload the recording and any supporting documents.
- Marking is when an LCME examiner assesses the submission.
When we say 'submit', we mean the submission stage.
In ExamTrack, you upload the recording and documents before you pay for your entry. This means you only pay for entries that are ready to be marked.
If you book for yourself, your child or your students, you'll create your own ExamTrack account from 1 December.
If you're an LCME centre, we'll set up accounts for you. More information on this is coming soon.
No. You'll add your candidates in ExamTrack. To make the process simple, centres can import them from a spreadsheet. More information is coming soon ahead of the launch.
The process will be the same as your current experience, the only difference is you will log in to ExamTrack to see results. Our published timescales for results and certificates still apply.
We are aiming for summer 2027. We'll share dates here as soon as they are confirmed. Until then, book them as you do now.
