LCME Recorded Exams

Recorded Exams

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, LCME is pleased to be able to offer Recorded Exams as an alternative to the face-to-face exam process to assess the work candidates have prepared for the Spring 2020 exam session.

Who can enter?

Any candidate whose Spring 2020 exam was postponed can transfer their entry to these exams now.
The entry fee already paid covers entry for the equivalent Recorded Exam - please apply by 15 May 2020.

Recorded exams will be available to everyone on 08 May 2020.

What is a Recorded Exam?

Candidates record their performance at a time and place that suits them and upload the video to our website, removing the need to attend an exam venue at a specified time and place.

See guidelines for recording exams

Are they regulated?

Yes! Submissions are assessed by trained LCME Examiners, using the same standards and criteria as face-to-face exams. This offers candidates a reliable, independent, regulated assessment and the flexibility allowed by the entry process.

How to enter

Simply upload your recorded performance here.
