LCME launches digital exams

Firstly, we apologise if you have had trouble contacting us over the last few months. I hope you will understand that, like many people, we have been impacted by the pandemic. We have received an unprecedented number of messages, and while the LCME team has done its best to respond to these, it has not always been possible to respond to everyone.

This year has presented a number of unexpected challenges for everyone and has obviously caused some disruption to our face-to-face graded music and performance exams. We have been working hard during this period to establish how exams can still go ahead without our teachers and students having to wait.

In these uncertain times, we are pleased to provide the certainty that exams can still go ahead through the launch of our NEW digital exams.

We have partnered with the International School of Musicians (ISoM) to offer two types of digital exam - online exams and recorded exams. For the first time, our graded exams can be taken remotely, from anywhere in the world and at any time that is convenient to the candidate.

What about face-to-face exams that have already been booked?

If you booked a face-to-face exam and is has been postponed due to Covid-19, you can convert to a recorded or online exam with no additional fee. To arrange this, simply get in touch with the ISoM digital exam team here.

How do I book an online or recorded exam?

If you would like to book a digital exam please click here. You will need to create an account. Once your account has been verified you will be able to log in to our online portal to book online or recorded exams, view upcoming exams and see exam results.

Any questions?

If you have an unresolved issue and need to speak to a member of the LCME team, please fill out this form with your query and we will be in touch within three working days.

If you are a centre representative interested in learning more about our digital exams, why not join one of our Q&A webinar sessions? Register your interest here and we will get back to you to confirm the details.

Thank you for your patience. We look forward to continuing to support our teachers and students through this challenging time.
