The Palazzo de La Salle resonated with the sounds of accomplishment as the London College of Music Examinations (LCME) and Malta Society of Arts (MSA) held their graduation ceremony there on Thursday 19 October 2023.
The event was a remarkable testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, as 22 proud graduates, along with over 100 other attendees, including relatives, teachers, and distinguished guests, gathered to celebrate this memorable occasion. Among the guests were the President and committee members of the MSA, architect Adrian Mamo, and LCME examiner Kevin Gill.
Rosette Vella, the LCME Representative for Malta, said, "The event highlighted the students' incredible achievements and dedication in their musical journey, especially when the hall was filled with lovely melodies by seven chosen performers. It was a great ceremony and a delightful evening throughout!"
In Malta, LCME candidates have the opportunity to take part in four exams annually. The Theory exams are held in June and November, while the Practical exams take place in May and October. The graduation ceremony was a culmination of these rigorous assessments and a recognition of the graduates' achievements.
