Become an area representative for LCME

We have exciting opportunities available to work with LCME by becoming an Area Representative in the following areas:

Established in 1887, the London College of Music Examinations (LCME) is one of the longest-established exam boards for the creative arts in the UK and the only one that is part of a leading British university, the University of West London.

LCME provides graded exams from early years to professional performance and teaching diplomas in music and creative arts including drama and communication.

LCME is the only exam board to offer in person and digital exams with a live online or recorded option. Our digital platform is provided in partnership with the International School of Musicians (ISoM).

Are you motivated? Are you personable? Are you ready to tap into your existing network to seek and build new relationships?

There are two elements to being a successful area rep for LCME:

  1. Exam planning and coordination. This will include finding and booking suitable venues for exam days, scheduling exam timetables and making sure that the exam days run smoothly and efficiently. You will need to attend the exam days in person or have a suitable substitute do this for you.

  2. Maintaining an existing LCME teacher base within your area, promoting LCME exams within your existing network and actively seeking new business to grow LCME's presence.

The LCME team will provide training and support through webinars, one-to-one’s and marketing materials, to help you grow a successful LCME business in your region.

This is a commission-based role with no cap on potential earnings. You will get out of it what you are willing to put in.

If you are interested, please get in touch by emailing LCM.exams@uwl.ac.uk and we can set up an informal discussion to detail further the role and responsibilities that apply to this position.

We look forward to meeting with you.
